This is my story and how it can help you! 

Part 1.  Accountant
The story starts with the usual star performing bean counter journey; Accounting degree at university (tick), job at prestigious global accounting firm KPMG (tick), Chartered Accountant qualification (tick).  Expert level accounting skills acquired (tick tick).

Part 2. CFO

Then came the fun stuff; what was intended to be a 6 month working holding in London turned into a 10 year international finance career spanning all corners of the globe.  I worked for a global marketing agency listed on the London stock exchange, working my way from Commercial Analyst up to Chief Finance Officer.  This is where I honed my commercial skills; buying and selling businesses, running a global budget, turning around loss making countries.  It was this period where I mastered the ability to analyse numbers and use them to craft and execute business strategy.

Part 3. Business Owner
I returned home to the Sunshine Coast in Australia and started my entrepreneurial journey.  I started a pilates studio (which is now a group of studios), I bought a loss making bar (which is now multiple profitable bars), and all the while I kept helping other business owners with their numbers.

It’s my passion for helping other business owners, combined with my expert level finance skills and experience, which gave birth to The Profit Analyst.

The Profit Analyst is all about empowering other business owners with their numbers.  I teach finance and commercial skills, but not in a boring accountant way.  I teach the exact tools and skills which I implement and use day to day in my businesses.
