You share as much or as little as you want. The day runs as group teaching with one-on-one work as I move around the room with each of you and your live numbers. People often choose to share more as the day goes on. What's said in the room stays in the room, and the cross-business conversations are where some of the best insight comes from. But there's no requirement. Your numbers are yours.
The day is for the owner. This is the moment you stop outsourcing the thinking on your numbers and start owning them, so a 2IC in your place isn't going to do the job. If you've got a business partner who's equally responsible for the financial side, you're welcome to come together as a partnership. And if you've got a finance support person or team who run the day-to-day, they're welcome to join on the 90 days of post-event support so you're both working off the same playbook.
Reasonably up to date is enough. If we hit anything that needs a clean-up during the pre-work tool build, we'll flag it and either get it sorted before the day or move you to the next event so you arrive ready.
Your accountant does compliance. They’re looking backwards. What happened, what to file, what to lodge. This looks forwards. What's happening now, what to do about it, and what's next. Different job, different tool. This isn’t about ‘accounting’, this is about financial leadership.

The Intensive is one day hands-on plus 90 days of support afterwards. If you're done with self-paced learning and want it done with you, this is it.
The question to ask yourself is whether you're using your numbers to drive decisions every week, or whether you're receiving reports and reviewing them. If it's the second, this is for you. The point isn't another report. It's the rhythm and the confidence to make the decisions yourself.
Five is the right number to do real work in a day. Big enough that the cross-business conversations are valuable. Small enough that I can sit with each of you and look at your actual numbers. Any more and the day flattens into a workshop.
About one to two hours a week if you want to get full value out of it. Drop into a call, bring your numbers, work through what's in front of you. Less is fine. More is fine. The rhythm is the point, not the hours.
Calls are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 10am AEST. All calls are recorded. You can submit your numbers and questions in advance and watch the answer back. Most owners get value from the rhythm even when they catch some live and others on replay.
Sunshine Coast events run in a serviced-office boardroom in Maroochydore. Melbourne in the equivalent in the CBD. Full address goes out on confirmation. 9am to 5pm. Coffee and snacks included. You get a quick lunch break. No accommodation, no dinners. This is a working day, not a retreat.
